The invention discloses regenerated rubber thermal insulation mortar and a preparation process and application thereof, and belongs to the technical field of civil engineering materials, the thermal insulation mortar comprises the following components by weight: 134-170 parts of cement, 100-156 parts of rubber powder, 20-30 parts of fly ash floating beads, 0.5-2 parts of a water retention thickener, 3-5 parts of a water reducer, and 120-200 parts of water; the preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, soaking rubber powder in a sodium hydroxide solution to obtain rubber powder for preparing the thermal insulation mortar; s2, mixing and dry-stirring the soaked rubber powder, cement, fly ash floating beads, a thickening agent and a water reducing agent to obtain dry thermal mortar powder; and S3, weighing mortar water, adding the mortar water into the thermal insulation mortar dry powder, and uniformly stirring to obtain the thermal insulation mortar. The thermal insulation mortar disclosed by the invention is simple in preparation process, has relatively good temperature stability and chemical stability, and can meet the thermal insulation effect of a building structure while reducing environmental pollution.
