The invention discloses a tundish covering agent capable of improving thermal insulation performance and a preparation method of the tundish covering agent. The tundish covering agent is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 10-35 parts of mullite, 40-60 parts of a calcium material, 10-30 parts of a pre-melting material, 3-5 parts of a binding agent, 5-10 parts of light-burned magnesia, 10-30 parts of dolomite and 1-10 parts of carbonate. The covering agent has the characteristics of high alkalinity, strong inclusion removal capability, no hardening and no erosion of a ladle lining after long-time use, and better heat preservation than a carbon-free calcium aluminum magnesium hollow particle covering agent, and can be widely applied to production of various high value-added steels.
一种提高保温性能的中间包覆盖剂及其制备方法,是由下述重量份数的原料制备而成:莫来石10‑35份、钙质材料40‑60份、预熔材料10‑30份、结合剂3‑5份、轻烧镁砂5‑10份、白云石10‑30份、碳酸盐1‑10份。具有碱度高、去除夹杂的能力强、长时间使用不板结和不侵蚀包衬的同时,保温性优于无碳钙铝镁质中空颗粒覆盖剂的特点,可广泛用于各种高附加值钢材的生产。
