The embodiment of the invention provides a prefabricated bridge and a construction method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of bridge construction. The prefabricated bridge comprises pile foundations, bearing platforms, pier columns, cover beams and a bridge deck superstructure which are sequentially distributed from bottom to top, the lower ends of the pile foundations are inserted into a bearing layer, the bearing platforms are arranged at the top ends of the pile foundations, each bearing platform corresponds to at least two pile foundations, the pier columns are arranged at the tops of the bearing platforms, the cover beams are arranged on the pier columns, and the bridge deck superstructure is arranged on the bearing platforms. The bridge deck upper mechanism is installed on the multiple cover beams in the longitudinal direction of the bridge. Wherein the bearing platform, the pier column and the cover beam are all of prefabricated structures, a positioning groove corresponding to the pier column is formed in the top of the bearing platform, the bottom of the pier column is inserted into the positioning groove by at least a part of depth so as to position the pier column, and a pouring space is formed between the inner wall of the positioning groove and the outer wall of the pier column; the pouring space is filled with filling materials so that the pier column can be connected with the bearing platform. The prefabricated bridge is high in structural stability and high in construction efficiency.
