The invention provides modified asphalt, an asphalt mixture as well as a preparation method and application of the asphalt mixture. The modified asphalt is prepared from the following raw material components in parts by mass: 70 to 98 parts of matrix asphalt, 5 to 20 parts of desulfurized rubber and 2 to 15 parts of North American rock asphalt. The modified asphalt has good storage stability, high-temperature rutting resistance, fatigue resistance, low-temperature crack resistance and aging resistance, that is, the modified asphalt has excellent comprehensive performance, and the problem that the modified asphalt with excellent comprehensive performance is difficult to obtain in the prior art is solved.
