The invention provides a truss and a truss construction method. The truss comprises lower chords, straight web members, truss modules and second diagonal web members, each truss module comprises an upper rod section and a first diagonal web member, one end of each upper rod section is connected with the top end of the corresponding first diagonal web member, the included angle between each upper rod section and the corresponding first diagonal web member is an acute angle, and the upper chords are jointly formed by the multiple upper rod sections; the first diagonal web members and the second diagonal web members are alternately arranged between the upper chord members and the lower chord members in the horizontal direction; the truss construction method comprises the following steps that the lower chord member is installed on the top of the jig frame; the bottom of the straight web member is connected with the starting end of the lower chord member; and the truss modules and the second diagonal web members are alternately installed on the lower chord members in the direction from the starting ends to the tail ends of the lower chord members. According to the truss construction method, the number of trusses needed in the construction process can be reduced, so that the construction convenience of the trusses is improved, and the construction cost of the trusses is reduced.
