A chain lock, in particular for a two-wheeled vehicle, comprises a lock body and a chain lockable to the lock body. The invention relates to a chain comprising a series arrangement of consecutive links coupled to each other by respective articulated joints between each other and pivotable relative to each other about joint axes of the respective articulated joints, the joint axes being parallel to the normal direction. The arrangement is foldable into a compact storage configuration in which, at each of the articulation joints, two links coupled to each other by the respective articulation joint are pivoted relative to each other about the joint axis of the respective articulation joint to such an extent that they enclose a minimum possible angle within their relative pivotability range. The chain further comprises a pulling device extending along said arrangement, by means of which a first end of the arrangement and a second end of the arrangement opposite thereto can be pulled towards each other such that the arrangement becomes a compact storage configuration by means of the pulling device.
