The invention relates to the technical field of environment-friendly building materials, and particularly discloses a process for producing aerated building blocks by using hot splashing method steel slag, which comprises the following steps: S1, preparing steel slag, cement, sand, fly ash and aerated block waste materials, then selecting porous particles in the steel slag as fine aggregates in a sorting manner, and drying the fine aggregates; solid steel slag with heavy mass and large particles is crushed; s2, the steel slag and the aerated block waste are conveyed into a stirring machine through conveying equipment to be stirred; s3, uniformly stirring the steel slag and the aerated block waste, adding an additive, stirring for 30-50 minutes, adding cement and water, stirring, and feeding the mixture into forming equipment for pouring and forming after stirring is completed; and S4, feeding the formed aerated block into steam curing equipment for steam curing to obtain the concrete aerated block. A large amount of industrial steel slag and aerated block waste are utilized, and meanwhile it is guaranteed that the strength of the aerated building block reaches the standard in the aerated building block production process.
