The carrying method of the intelligent carrying system comprises the steps that an intelligent forklift obtains a carrying instruction for carrying steps needing to cross a carrying path; the intelligent forklift obtains the transition platform and carries the transition platform to abut against the step; and the intelligent forklift spans the steps through the transition platform for carrying. In this way, the intelligent forklift can stably and smoothly cross the steps.
