The embodiment of the invention discloses a cleaning method and device, cleaning equipment and a computer readable storage medium. The method comprises the steps that a cleaning program currently executed by the cleaning equipment is acquired, and a target cleaning component is determined based on the cleaning program; the lifting mechanism is controlled to descend the target cleaning component to the first position; determining that other cleaning parts except the target cleaning part exist, and controlling the lifting mechanism to lift the other cleaning parts to a second position; and executing a cleaning program by using the target cleaning component. Thus, by controlling the lifting mechanism, the target cleaning component descends to the first position, and meanwhile, the other cleaning components except the target cleaning component are lifted to the second position, so that when the target cleaning component works, the other cleaning components except the target cleaning component are separated from the ground to be cleaned; the situation that after the target cleaning component cleans the ground to be cleaned, other components except the target cleaning component cause secondary pollution to the cleaned ground is avoided, and therefore the cleaning effect of the cleaning equipment is guaranteed.
