The diesel water pump unit is mounted on the chassis body and comprises a starting battery, a diesel engine and a self-priming water pump, and the starting battery is used for starting the diesel engine; the diesel engine is connected with the self-priming water pump and used for providing power for the self-priming water pump. The control cabinet is connected with the diesel water pump unit and used for controlling the diesel water pump unit to operate. According to the technical scheme, the trailer type diesel drainage pump truck is lower in manufacturing cost, smaller in size, more convenient to transport and more flexible to use. A diesel water pump unit is further arranged, the diesel water pump unit uses a diesel engine as a power source and can provide power for a self-priming water pump, and the self-priming water pump has a self-priming function and can conduct drainage work. The device is not influenced by a power supply, and can quickly arrive at the site for flood prevention and emergency rescue operation after urban road ponding is encountered.
