The invention relates to a plug-in type steel column installation adjusting device and method.The device comprises a positioning mechanism, a connecting mechanism and a supporting component which are sequentially connected from top to bottom, the supporting component comprises a concrete foundation, the connecting mechanism comprises an embedded anchor bolt and an adjusting nut, and the positioning mechanism comprises a positioning steel plate and a fixing nut; the method comprises the steps that the multiple embedded anchor bolts are installed in the concrete foundation; adjusting nuts are installed on the multiple embedded anchor bolts; mounting a positioning steel plate on the adjusting nut, and checking and leveling the positioning steel plate; mounting a steel column on the adjusting nut, and checking and leveling the steel column; fixing nuts are installed on the multiple embedded anchor bolts to fix the steel column to the top face of the concrete foundation; the installation can be smoothly completed at one time by hoisting and installing the steel column; and if the steel column has precision deviation, the error of the steel column can be made up by adjusting the adjusting nut through the nut adjusting tool, and re-hoisting for adjustment is not needed, so that the manpower and material resource cost can be saved under the condition of ensuring higher safety and higher efficiency.
