The invention relates to the field of cement production admixtures, and particularly discloses a raw material grinding aid for cement clinker firing and a preparation method thereof.The raw material grinding aid for cement clinker firing is prepared from, by weight, 10-50 parts of a water reducing agent, 8-30 parts of octadecanamide modified biomass charcoal, 5-25 parts of silicate, 10-40 parts of water and 5-15 parts of humic acid. 2-10 parts of ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid and 4-20 parts of ethylene glycol. The types and mixing amounts of all the raw materials are adjusted, so that after the obtained raw material grinding aid is used for sintering cement clinker, the minimum 80-micron grinding aiding effect and the minimum raw material burnability (f-CaO) are 18.69% and 0.55% respectively; the highest yield per machine hour and the highest compressive strength of clinker in 3d and 28d are 439 t/h, 32.8 MPa and 62.2 MPa respectively, which indicates that the raw material grinding aid has a good grinding aiding effect, can reduce the grinding fineness and burnability of the raw material, and can improve the compressive strength and yield of the clinker.
