The invention relates to a variable-width multi-box type steel box girder which is characterized in that one ends of two main box girders are in a variable-width state, a middle box girder is arranged between the variable-width parts of the two main box girders, and a plurality of connecting assemblies are arranged between the two sides of the middle box girder and the two main box girders and between the horizontal parts of the two main box girders; the connecting assembly comprises a connecting plate, the two sides of the connecting plate are fixedly connected with protruding plates, the two protruding plates are inserted into one sides of the two main box girders correspondingly, and the two sides of the connecting plate are fixed to the two main box girders through bolts correspondingly. A connecting mechanism is arranged between the tops of the two main box girders, and cantilever mechanisms are arranged on the two sides of the two main box girders; the problems that an existing steel box girder is mostly installed in a welding mode, the workload is large, the input cost is high, and people cannot be reminded when the steel box girder deviates in the using process are solved.
