Yttrium-stabilized zirconia powder and preparation method thereof
The invention relates to the technical field of zirconium oxide powder materials, and particularly provides yttrium-stabilized zirconium oxide powder and a preparation method thereof. The yttrium-stabilized zirconium oxide powder is prepared from the following components in percentage by mole: 0.8 to 2.5 percent of Y2O3 and 97.5 to 99.2 percent of ZrO2; the preparation method comprises the following steps: dissolving a water-soluble yttrium salt, a water-soluble zirconium salt and a dispersing agent into water to prepare a solution A with the salt concentration of 1.0-2.5 mol/L; synchronously dropwise adding the solution A and an ammonium bicarbonate aqueous solution with the weight concentration of 10-20% into a reactor, and controlling the dropwise adding speed of the ammonium bicarbonate aqueous solution to enable the pH value of a reaction system to be 8.5-9.5; after dropwise adding, dehydrating, dispersing the collected precipitate into a second surfactant aqueous solution of which the volume is 3-10 times that of the precipitate, stirring for 30-60 minutes, dehydrating, continuously washing with water, and dehydrating for 2-8 times to obtain a water washing product; and heating the washed product to 800-900 DEG C, calcining for 1.5-3.5 hours, cooling, and crushing to obtain the product. The yttrium-stabilized zirconia powder disclosed by the invention has the characteristics of uniform composition and relatively low monoclinic phase content, and can be used as a toughening agent for toughening ZTA ceramics.
