The invention discloses a preparation method of a silicon oxide-based ceramic core, which comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing zircon powder and alumina micro powder according to a specific proportion to obtain mixed powder; uniformly mixing the mixed powder and quartz glass powder with single particle size according to a specific ratio to obtain refractory powder; weighing the plasticizer and the refractory powder according to the calculated weight ratio, and uniformly stirring to obtain ceramic slurry; preparing the ceramic slurry into a ceramic biscuit; embedding the ceramic biscuit into the pre-sintered landfill powder, and heating and sintering according to a set heating speed to obtain a ceramic core; and the ceramic core is subjected to strengthening treatment and the like. According to the invention, through an alumina micro powder doping technology and an optimized sintering schedule, quartz glass powder with a single particle size is used as a matrix material, the performance of the ceramic core can be ensured to meet the application of a single crystal turbine blade, and the variety of raw materials is reduced, so that the method has great advantages in quality stability control of the performance of the ceramic core.
