The invention discloses an assembly type ballastless track and a construction method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of ballastless tracks, the assembly type ballastless track comprises a prefabricated unit plate, a leveling layer and a lower foundation which are sequentially stacked in the vertical direction; the multiple prefabricated unit plates are sequentially arranged side by side in the longitudinal direction of the track, connecting pieces extend out of the two longitudinal ends of each prefabricated unit plate, and the connecting pieces of every two adjacent prefabricated unit plates are detachably connected.
