The invention discloses an assembly type cooling tower and a construction process thereof, and relates to the technical field of cooling equipment. The adjusting system comprises an adjusting assembly arranged around the lower end of the stand column; one end of the adjusting assembly abuts against the stand column, the other end of the adjusting assembly abuts against the inner wall surface of the pit, and the adjusting system is used for adjusting the sag and/or horizontal position of the stand column. And the filling material is filled and cured in the pit. The construction technology comprises the steps that a pit is manufactured in a foundation; a prefabricated and formed stand column is vertically placed in the pit; the height position, the perpendicularity and/or the horizontal position of the stand column are/is adjusted; and filling a filling material into the pit and curing. According to the stele-shaped foundation and the mortise and tenon connecting structure, the construction efficiency of the fabricated cooling tower can be greatly improved.
