The assembly type steel tower fan foundation comprises a foundation assembly and a connecting assembly. The foundation assembly comprises a plurality of prefabricated parts arranged in the annular direction, the multiple prefabricated parts define a mounting cavity, every two adjacent prefabricated parts are connected through an insertion connection structure, and each insertion connection structure comprises an insertion connection block and/or an insertion connection groove formed in one of the two adjacent prefabricated parts and an insertion connection groove and/or an insertion connection block formed in the other one of the two adjacent prefabricated parts; the connecting assembly is arranged in the mounting cavity and connected with the steel tower drum. The problems that the number of parts of an existing fan foundation is large, the steps are tedious in the field installation process, and the construction speed is low are solved.
