The invention relates to the field of building materials, in particular to an anti-mildew lightweight wall material and a preparation method thereof. The wall material is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 20-25 parts of expanded perlite, 50-70 parts of cement, 15-20 parts of fly ash, 10-20 parts of shell powder, 10-20 parts of plant fiber bundles, 1-5 parts of calcium silicate whiskers, 8-12 parts of an anti-mildew antibacterial agent, 3-5 parts of a silicon-based nano hybrid material, 10-16 parts of a perfluoroalkyl ethyl acrylate copolymer, 3-6 parts of nano aluminum oxide particles, 5-10 parts of an antioxidant, 2-6 parts of calcium stearate and 60-100 parts of water. The wall material provided by the invention has excellent impermeability, compressive strength and tensile adhesive strength, and has excellent mildew resistance.
