The invention discloses a preparation method of a carbon-ceramic composite material for heat insulation of a reduction furnace, which comprises the following steps: alternately laminating carbon fiber cloth, a carbon fiber net tire and a polymeric membrane, and needling layer by layer to obtain a carbon fiber and polymeric membrane preform; performing carbonization treatment, primary purification treatment and carbon densification treatment on the carbon fiber and polymeric membrane preform in sequence to obtain a low-density carbon-carbon porous body; the low-density carbon-carbon porous body is subjected to secondary purification treatment and silicon carbide densification treatment, and the carbon-ceramic composite material is obtained; the carbon-ceramic composite material is obtained through three times of purification treatment. The carbon-ceramic composite material for heat insulation of the reduction furnace, which is prepared by the preparation method, is high in purity, low in heat conductivity and high in strength, and the power consumption for producing polycrystalline silicon is greatly reduced.
