The invention discloses a porous carbon-rich SiOC (N) nanosphere with excellent wave-absorbing performance and a preparation method thereof, the preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, dropwise adding a SiOC ceramic precursor into a hydrolysate, and stirring to obtain a SiOC ceramic precursor mixed solution; s2, adding an acid catalyst into the mixed solution, and stirring to hydrolyze the SiOC ceramic precursor; s3, after hydrolysis, continuing to add an alkali catalyst, stirring, and carrying out polycondensation to form a SiOC nanosphere particle mixed solution; s4, adding a carbon phase precursor into the SiOC nanosphere particle mixed solution, stirring, centrifuging and drying to prepare a porous carbon-rich SiOC (N) nanosphere precursor; s5, under the protective atmosphere, the porous carbon-rich SiOC (N) nanosphere precursor is subjected to pyrolysis, and porous carbon-rich SiOC (N) nanospheres are obtained; the weight ratio of the SiOC ceramic precursor to the acid catalyst to the base catalyst to the carbon phase precursor is (5-15): (0.5-2.0): (1-10): (2-6).
