The invention relates to a real-time monitoring system for hydraulic foundation scouring. The real-time monitoring system comprises an ultrasonic sensor, an acquisition instrument and a data processing system, the ultrasonic sensor comprises an ultrasonic generating sensor and an ultrasonic receiving sensor; the acquisition instrument comprises an ultrasonic emission driver and an echo receiver; the ultrasonic generation sensor is used for converting an electric signal generated by the ultrasonic transmission drive into ultrasonic vibration and transmitting the ultrasonic vibration to a specific direction; the ultrasonic receiving sensor is used for generating an electric signal when receiving echoes and transmitting the electric signal to the echo receiver; the data processing system is used for collecting, analyzing, storing and presenting echo data. The method has the advantages that power value digital signals, received by the sensor, of the whole echo process are connected into the industrial personal computer, basic transmitting signals are filtered in combination with an algorithm, and a real transmitting target can be well obtained when the environment is still changed in long-time continuous monitoring.
