Preparation method of yttrium oxide transparent ceramic
The invention relates to a preparation method of yttrium oxide transparent ceramic, which comprises the following steps: (1) pouring prepared yttrium oxide transparent ceramic powder into a graphite mold, and carrying out compression molding to obtain the graphite mold with a ceramic biscuit in the middle; (2) placing the graphite mold with the ceramic biscuit in a discharge plasma sintering furnace to obtain an unground and polished ceramic block of the yttrium oxide transparent ceramic; and (3) grinding and polishing the sintered ceramic block by using abrasive paper until the thickness is 1-1.1 mm to obtain the yttrium oxide transparent ceramic. Compared with sintering methods such as pressureless sintering, atmosphere sintering and microwave sintering, the sintering method adopting spark plasma sintering has the advantages that the heating rate is high, the heat preservation time is short, the high efficiency is ensured, and meanwhile, the production cost is reduced. By adding a certain amount of LiF and replacing graphite paper commonly used for wrapping powder in a graphite mold with tantalum paper, the problem of carburization commonly caused by spark plasma sintering is solved, so that the optical performance is reduced.
本发明涉及一种氧化钇透明陶瓷的制备方法,包括如下步骤:(一)、将制备的氧化钇透明陶瓷粉体倒入石墨模具中,经过压制成型后,得到中间带有陶瓷素坯的石墨模具;(二)、将带有陶瓷素坯的石墨模具放置于放电等离子烧结炉中,得到氧化钇透明陶瓷未经研磨抛光的陶瓷块体;(三)、将烧结好的陶瓷块体使用砂纸研磨抛光至1mm~1.1mm厚,得到氧化钇透明陶瓷。本发明采用放电等离子烧结的烧结方法,相比于无压烧结、气氛烧结、微波烧结等烧结方法,升温速率快、保温时间短,在保证其高效率的同时,通过加入一定量的LiF和将钽纸代替石墨模具中包裹粉体常用的石墨纸的方法克服了放电等离子烧结常见的渗碳问题,从而导致光学性能下降。
