The invention relates to the field of bridge construction methods, and particularly discloses an integral type longitudinal sliding rigid side formwork construction method which comprises the steps that rails are installed; hoisting the trolley; hoisting the template; locking the trolley; transversely moving in place; longitudinally moving in place; the formworks are assembled; resetting the trolley; performing field inspection; and demolding and the like. According to the method, the rail is installed on the support through the supporting bottom cross beam, the sliding trolley and the supporting bottom cross beam are mutually locked through the trolley locking device during mold closing, and the anti-overturning safety buckle is further arranged on the sliding trolley, so that the side mold and the sliding trolley can be mutually locked during moving, overturning is prevented, and the mold plate is transferred more safely; and by arranging the transverse jack and the longitudinal jack, the side mold plates can move in two directions during mold closing, and mold closing is convenient.
