The invention discloses a preparation method of a lead-zinc tailing-based sintered brick and the lead-zinc tailing-based sintered brick, and belongs to the field of recycling of tailings. The method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing 89-94% by mass of a main body raw material and 6-11% by mass of glass powder to obtain a mixture; the main raw materials comprise lead-zinc tailings and clay, and the mass ratio of the lead-zinc tailings is greater than that of the clay; adding water into the mixture, and uniformly stirring to obtain a blank; the blank is placed in a sealing device and placed in a room temperature environment for a first preset duration, and an aged blank is obtained; sequentially carrying out pressure forming and drying on the aged blank to obtain a dried green brick; and sintering the dried green brick according to a preset sintering temperature model to obtain the lead-zinc tailing-based sintered brick. According to the preparation method of the lead-zinc tailing-based sintered brick, the mechanical property and strength of the lead-zinc tailing-based sintered brick are effectively improved, and meanwhile, the utilization rate of the lead-zinc tailings can be increased.
