The invention discloses a functional artificial marble which comprises a group A and a group B, the component A comprises the following components in parts by weight: cement, quartz sand, a pigment, a graphene oxide nano hybrid, a water reducing agent, water glass, a waterproof agent and a retarder; the component B comprises cement, quartz sand, marble, a graphene oxide nano hybrid and the like; the invention further discloses a preparation method of the functionalized artificial marble. Graphene oxide is modified, raw materials and a process are optimized, a graphene oxide nano hybrid with good performance is prepared, the graphene oxide nano hybrid is used as an additive, and optimized components of the functionalized artificial marble are supplemented, so that the performance of the artificial marble is remarkably improved; the artificial marble with excellent wear-resistant, hydrophobic and antibacterial functions is obtained, and the preparation method is simple and environmentally friendly.
