The invention discloses a core-shell structure nanowire toughened plasma spraying ZrC-SiC coating and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: 1) pretreating a C/C composite material; 2) preparing a SiC-coated SiO2 nanowire layer on the surface of the C/C composite material to obtain a C/C composite material with SiC-coated SiO2 nanowires growing on the surface; 3) coating a PyC layer on the surface of the C/C composite material with the SiC-coated SiO2 nanowires grown on the surface to obtain a C/C composite material with SiC-coated SiO2-coated PyC nanowires grown on the surface; and 4) spraying a ZrC-SiC coating on the surface of the C/C composite material with the SiC (at) SiO2 (at) PyC nanowire growing on the surface to obtain the core-shell structure nanowire toughened plasma spraying ZrC-SiC coating, and the coating and the preparation method thereof can solve the problems of high brittleness of a plasma spraying ceramic coating and poor bonding force of a coating-matrix interface.
