The invention provides a hydrophobic glass bead, a preparation method thereof and application of the hydrophobic glass bead in self-leveling cement. Wherein the hydrophobic glass beads are mainly composed of hollow glass beads and a siloxane-based hydrophobic agent coupled to the surfaces of the hollow glass beads. The siloxane-based water repellent agent is used as a modifier, one part of silicon hydroxyl generated by hydrolysis reacts with the surfaces of the hollow glass beads to form silicon-oxygen-carbon bonds, and the other part of silicon hydroxyl enables the glass beads to have relatively strong hydrophobicity; the free silicon hydroxyl groups on the hydrophobic glass beads can enhance the interaction between the hydrophobic glass beads and cement, and the hydrophobic property of the hydrophobic glass beads can retain more moisture among powder particles and enhance the flowability, so that the cement has better self-leveling property, and meanwhile, the problems of reduction of cement strength and the like caused by addition of excessive moisture can be solved. Therefore, when the hydrophobic glass beads are applied to the self-leveling cement, the self-leveling cement has the functions of light weight, heat preservation, sound insulation and the like, and also has better self-leveling performance and compressive strength.
本发明提供了一种疏水玻璃微珠及其制备方法和在自流平水泥中的应用。其中,所述疏水玻璃微珠主要由空心玻璃微珠和偶联在其表面的硅氧烷基疏水剂组成。所述硅氧烷基疏水剂作为改性剂,其水解产生硅羟基一部分与空心玻璃微珠表面反应形成硅氧碳键,另一部分使玻璃微珠具有较强的疏水性能;疏水玻璃微珠上的自由硅羟基可以增加其与水泥之间的相互作用,其疏水性能可以使更多的水分保留在粉体颗粒之间,增加流动性,使得水泥具有较好的自流平性能,同时能解决因加入过多的水分造成的降低水泥强度等问题。因此,将上述疏水玻璃微珠应用到自流平水泥中,能够使自流平水泥在具有轻质和保温隔音等功能的同时,还具有较好的自流平性能和抗压强度。
