The invention discloses an integral beam falling device and method for a bailey truss, and the main steps are as follows: S00: installing the integral beam falling device, firstly forming a lifting hole, a guide hole and a buffer hole, and then sequentially arranging a lifting beam assembly, a guide limiting assembly and a buffer assembly, S10: dismounting a falling block, and tightly hanging a truss system by a box beam; s20, the truss system falls down; and S30, the truss system is dismantled and transferred, the whole truss system is hoisted through a center hole jack, then under monitoring of an intelligent controller, the whole truss system slowly descends along a guide rod, meanwhile, the truss descending system is decelerated through a buffer assembly, the whole descending process is continuous, frequent operation of workers is not needed, and the working efficiency is improved. The construction period can be shortened and the construction efficiency can be improved while high-altitude operation is avoided to the maximum extent and safety and reliability are guaranteed, so that the whole truss system can quickly fall back to the ground and then is safely and stably disassembled.
