The invention relates to the technical field of underwater piling, in particular to a pile sinking construction method which comprises the steps that an auxiliary pile sinking tool is connected with a pile body; sinking the pile body into water; piling equipment is used for driving the end, exposed out of the water surface, of the auxiliary pile sinking tool, and the pile body is driven into the stratum; the auxiliary pile sinking tool is moved in the direction away from the pile body, so that the auxiliary pile sinking tool is separated from the pile body; the auxiliary pile sinking tool comprises a tool body and a connecting rod, the tool body is connected with the connecting rod, the auxiliary pile sinking tool clamps the pile body through the tool body, and the connecting rod is a driving part for driving of pile driving equipment. Through the arrangement, the step of separating the auxiliary pile sinking tool from the pile body through underwater cutting operation is omitted, and the construction complexity and the construction risk are reduced.
