An openable covering device provided with a first panel (3), a set of intermediate panels (5) and a last panel (7) and movable in a longitudinal opening and closing direction between a closing condition (C) in which they are almost side by side and an end opening condition (A) in which they are at least partially overlapping; in an operative condition of the device (1) the longitudinal opening direction and the longitudinal sides of the sliding panels (3, 5, 7) are mutually parallel and horizontal or inclined towards the closing direction and the transverse sides of each panel (3, 5, 7) are mutually parallel and horizontal or inclined towards the closing direction, and the transversal sides of each panel (3, 5, 7) are almost horizontal. The last panel (7) is higher than the other panels (3, 5) and the first sliding panel (3) is lower than the other panels (5, 7). The right longitudinal sides of each panel (3, 5, 7) are contained or housed in a right side beam means (9) which are arranged parallel to the longitudinal sides of the panels (3, 5, 7). Each intermediate panel (5) and the last panel (7) has at least one respective first support means (13) fixed to a rear transverse side of the respective panel (5, 7) and protruding downwards and has a first abutment means (15) fixed to the front transverse side of the respective panel (5, 7) and projecting downwards. Each intermediate panel (5) and lower panel (3) has at least one respective second support means (19) fixed to the front transverse side of the respective panel (5, 3) and projecting upwards and having a second abutment means (21) fixed to the rear transverse side of the respective panel (5, 3) and protruding upwards. Said device (1) further comprises movement means (25) connected to the first panel (3) to move it from the closing condition (C) to the opening condition (A) and vice versa.
