Cylinder lock having a cylinder core (2) which can be rotated in a housing (1), comprising a keyway (7), which runs in a radial plane R and is intended for the insertion of a key (3), wherein a core-pin guide (13) is provided on one side of the keyway (7), wherein there is in the core-pin guide (13) a core pin (6), which is preferably prestressed by a spring (14), can be displaced along its longitudinal axis in the core-pin guide (13) from a blocking position into a release position and has a core side (8), which is oriented in the direction of the keyway (7), and a housing side (9), which is oriented in the direction of the housing (1), wherein the housing side (9) has two blocking portions (4), which project to different extents in the direction of the longitudinal axis (5), the housing side (9) therefore being of a substantially step-shaped form. Also claimed are a key (3) for such a cylinder lock and a locking device of this kind.
