A scaffolding tower comprises a folding frame comprising first 22 and second end sections connected by a folding side section and a platform 4 connectable to the frame at two or more heights from the ground. A guard rail surrounds the platform, defining a periphery of the frame. An adjustable step system is connectable to the first end of the frame and comprises a first step unit arranged to extend outwardly of the periphery of the frame and a second step unit arranged to extend inwardly between the first end of the folding frame and the platform. The platform may comprise a hinged section and a hatch, and the rail may comprise a gate. Also claimed are a kit of parts to make a scaffolding tower, an extension pack for connecting to the tower, an adjustable step system, a folding frame and a locking sleeve connector.
