A rotatable unit for a barrier
The unit 1 is configured to be rotatable about a support shaft. The unit comprises a tubular portion 2 and more than one blade 3. In use the shaft passes through the tubular portion. The blades include first 6 and second 7 blades surfaces and each blade surface including first and second longitudinal edges 12. First and second connecting edges arrangements, each edge connecting arrangement connects one longitudinal edge 15 of a first surface to a longitudinal edge of a second surface. Each connecting edge includes a first portion 17 which extends along a longitudinal edge. Also claimed is a tube for forming a rotatable unit comprising first and second longitudinal ends and a number of channels indented from an inner surface and an outer surface. The channels extend at least a part way along the length of the tube from one end. Also claimed is a method of forming a rotatable unit. The method includes driving a tool into a tube to form the unit. A portion of the tool fits inside the tube and the tube is driven such that a part of the tube is urged outwardly and tears the tube to form a number of blades.
