A vent 1 comprising a first aperture 10 and a second aperture 12 connected together by a body portion 14 configured to allow airflow therebetween, the first and second aperture being offset in a first direction (height), and wherein the vent comprises an adjustment portion 16 which is adjustable to provide a plurality of different lateral offsets of the first and second apertures relative to one another in a second direction laterally (left or right) to the first direction. The body portion may be elongate in the first direction and the first and second apertures have width in the second direction, with the width of the second aperture being less than the first aperture. The vent may comprise a plurality of adjustment portions adjacent one another (18, fig 5) configured to slide. The adjustment portion may comprise a rotating mechanism (fig 13) having a pair of pivoting elements positioned on the body to permit rotation of first and second apertures, or may comprise a plurality of foldable sections configured to expand and compress so that the body is telescopic (fig 27).
