A decking board 100 comprises first 102 and second 103 upper surface portions, supported by one or more webs 110, and having corresponding edge profiles 116, 118. The profiles corresponding in such a way that two boards placed side-by-side they form a complete upper surface. The first upper surface has an unsupported region 114 configured to cover a fixing channel 122 of an adjacent board. When placed adjacent another like board the first upper surface portion is received beneath the second upper surface portion. The board has an open drainage channel 126 which remains uncovered when boards are placed adjacent one another and is further from a side of the first upper surface portion than a second. Also disclosed is a method of manufacturing the described decking board, a kit or deck comprising multiple boards, and a method of constructing decking from the boards.
