SNOW MELTING HEATER AND SNOW MELTING STRUCTURE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow melting heater and a snow melting structure, easily installable on an existing roof by post-installation, reducing an exposure of a connection cord, and being high in snow melting efficiency.SOLUTION: A snow melting heater includes a linear heating element 16, an outer frame for housing its linear heating element 16 and pressing means for pressing the linear heating element to the outer frame. The snow melting heater 11 is provided with a partition plate 12a for forming a groove for housing the linear heating element 16 in a predetermined position by folding up the linear heating element 16 in the outer frame, and is provided with, as the pressing means, a cover body 17 for sealing the linear heating element 16 housed in the groove in the groove and a spacer 18 for imparting energization force for bringing the linear heating element 16 into close contact with the outer frame in the groove, and is provided with irregular engaging parts 13a and 14a capable of internally hiding a cord connection part 16a generated when connecting mutual end parts of the liner heating element 16 in a short side end part of the outer frame.
【課題】既存の屋根に後付けで簡単に取付けでき、接続コードの露出の少なく、融雪効率が高い融雪ヒータと融雪構造を提供すること。【解決手段】線状発熱体16とその線状発熱体16を収容する外枠とその外枠に線状発熱体を押しつける押圧手段とを含んでなる融雪ヒータについて、外枠に線状発熱体16を折りたたんで所定位置に収容するための溝を形成する仕切板12aを設け、押圧手段として前記溝に収容した線状発熱体16を溝内に封止する蓋体17と、この溝内で線状発熱体16を外枠に密着させる付勢力を付与するスペーサー18とを設け、外枠の短手側端部に線状発熱体16の端部どうしを連結した際に生じるコード接続部16aを内側に隠すことが可能な凹凸係合部13a,14aを設けた融雪ヒータ11とした。【選択図】図1
