To extend the service life of a heater tube to enable long-term stable use of it.SOLUTION: A snow melting tubular heater 1 comprises a glass heater tube 31 having a predetermined outer diameter sealed at both ends of the cylindrical shape and with carbon heating elements (32, 33) stretched inside, and caps 35 on both sides having medium-diameter holes 352 that internally fit and integrally support both ends of the heater tube 31, and further comprises a glass cylindrical body 37 whose inner diameter is larger than the outer diameter of the heater tube 31. The cap 35 has a large-diameter hole 351 formed concentrically around the medium-diameter hole 352, and the glass cylindrical body 37 is internally fitted and supported in the large-diameter hole 351.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
