WATER-THEFT PREVENTION FAUCET
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a B capable of preventing a water-theft, with a simple structure, even if there is no key or without executing removal work of a handle, by incorporating a lock mechanism into the handle itself.SOLUTION: A handle 20 comprises: a handle body 21 for covering an end part of a cylindrical part 13; a lock mechanism 22 assembled in this handle body 21; a plurality of dials 22a with a sign including a figure and a picture character attached thereon and capable of performing rotary operation on the handle body 21 from the outside; a handle cover 23 installed on the handle body 21 and having a connection member 23a connected to an end part of a valve stem 12; and a lock claw 24 inserted and extracted by the lock mechanism 22 to/from an outer surface of this handle cover 23 and inhibiting rotation of the handle 20 when engaging with a locking groove 14 of a faucet body 10.
【課題】ハンドル自体にロック機構を組み込んで、鍵がなくても、あるいはハンドルの取り外し作業を行わなくても盗水防止が行えるＢを、簡単な構造によって提供すること。【解決手段】ハンドル２０を、筒部１３の端部を覆うハンドル本体２１と、このハンドル本体２１内に組み付けたロック機構２２と、数字や絵文字を含む記号が付されて、ハンドル本体２１の外側から回動操作できる複数のダイヤル２２ａと、ハンドル本体２１に取り付けられて、弁軸１２の端部に連結される連結部材２３ａを備えたハンドルカバー２３と、このハンドルカバー２３の外面に対してロック機構２２によって出入されて、水栓本体１０の係止溝１４に係合したとき、当該ハンドル２０の回動を阻止するロック爪２４と、を備えたものとしたこと。【選択図】図１
