PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aseismic joint for a manhole used as a water cutoff structure cutting off water at a connection between a manhole side wall and a rehabilitation pipe inserted into a deteriorated existing pipe for lining the existing pipe, the aseismic joint securing a sufficient fastened surface area of a cylinder part of a joint externally fitted on the pipe tip part of the rehabilitation pipe that protrudes into the manhole, even when the pipe tip part spreads in a trumpet form.SOLUTION: A cylinder part 21a of an aseismic joint 21 has a circular arc-form cross-section protruding toward an outer periphery, and includes a protrusion 22 located at a central part in an axial direction of the cylinder part 21a and protruding in a radial direction. A water cutoff structure is installed by inserting the cylinder part 21a into a rehabilitation pipe 16 such that a positioning protrusion 25 reaches a pipe tip part of the rehabilitation pipe 16, and then fastening the cylinder part 21a with the pipe tip part 16a using a tightening pad 23. The cylinder part 21a is pressed against the widening and opening pipe tip part 21a as the cylinder part is fastened, increasing a fastened surface area with the pipe tip part 21a and ensuring water-tightness.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
【課題】老朽化した既設管に挿入してライニングされる更生管とマンホール側壁との接続部分を止水する止水構造に用いられるマンホール用の耐震継手であって、マンホール内に突出する更生管の管端部がラッパ状に拡がっていても前記管端部に外嵌される継手の筒部による前記管端部への締付面積が十分に取れるようにする。【解決手段】耐震継手21の筒部21aは外周に凸形の円弧断面をなし、筒部21aの軸方向中間部に位置して径方向に突出形成される突出部22を有し、止水構造の施工は、筒部21aを管端部16aに位置決め用の突起25が更生管16の管端部端に当たるまで挿入したのち、締付パッド23を用いて筒部21aを管端部16aに締着する。締着に伴い筒部21aが拡開する管端部21aに押付けられるようになり、管端部21aとの締付面積が増加し、水密性を確保する。【選択図】図8
