PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device that allows even a general-purpose and simple facility to be easily assembled.SOLUTION: A steering lock device 1 comprises: a link 40 that can be slid centered on a rotary shaft 44 by driving a plunger 31 so as to be switchingly moved between a restriction position and a permission position, inhibits rotation of a cam shaft 20 toward a LOCK position at the restriction position and permits rotation of the cam shaft 20 toward the LOCK position at the permission position; and an interlocking mechanism that makes the link 40 to interlock with operation of a cam part 21 and the plunger 31. In a housing 10 is formed a storing part 13 having an opening part 13d in which the interlocking mechanism can be installed, and a cover part 30b covering the opening part 13d is provided in a solenoid 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
