PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device that can hardly generate fraudulent unlock of a lock state by breaking.SOLUTION: The steering lock device 1 includes a lock body 2 and a cover 4 for occluding the opening 3 thereof. The cover 4 is provided with a wall part 40 on a route to a lock mechanism 11. Granted that the steering lock device 1 in a lock state assembled to a vehicle body is subjected to such an attack of breaking the steering lock device, the wall part 40 receives this so as to prevent the attack from reaching the lock mechanism 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】破壊によるロック状態の不正解除を生じ難くすることができるステアリングロック装置を提供する。【解決手段】ステアリングロック装置１は、ロックボディ２と、その開口３を閉じるカバー４とを有する。カバー４には、ロック機構１１に至る経路上に壁部４０が設けられている。壁部４０は、車体に組み付けられたロック状態のステアリングロック装置１が仮に破壊される攻撃を受けたとしても、これを受け止めることにより、攻撃をロック機構１１まで至らせないようにする。【選択図】図３
