PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of a cylindrical tank in which reassembling of a scaffold may be easily carried out for, for example, position adjustment against a longitudinal seam and the like.SOLUTION: There is provided a construction method of a cylindrical tank comprising metal inner tank and a concrete outer tank, which comprises a step of assembling the inner tank by mutually repeating lift of an inner tank side plate in the outer tank and connection of the next inner tank side plate onto a lower side of the lifted inner tank side plate. A scaffold for operation onto the inner tank side plate is formed between the inner tank side plate and the outer tank or between the inner tank side plate and a support frame by using a longitudinal scaffold comprising a support frame positioned at the opposite side of the outer tank relatively to the inner tank side plate or a frame body detachably attached onto the outer tank and a scaffold plate detachably attached on the frame body to form a bridge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
