PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter capable of passing drain water and recovering oil included in the drain water.SOLUTION: A filter is installed in a drain water tube in which drain water flows. The filter includes a first layer including fiber having lipophilic property and a second layer including fiber having hydrophilic property which are neighboring in a direction orthogonal to an inflow direction in which the waste water flows.
