PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion joint that prevents formation of a stepped part or a gap from an outdoor facility ground surface, along with a base-isolated building provided with the same.SOLUTION: An expansion joint 10 closes a gap 18 between an outer peripheral part of a base-isolated building 100 and an outdoor facility ground surface GL, and has an extended part 20 that extends outward from a periphery above the outdoor facility ground surface GL of the base-isolated building 100 and is disposed slidably in a horizontal direction, above the outdoor facility ground surface GL over the gap 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】外構地面との間で段差や隙間が生じないエキスパンション・ジョイントおよびこれを備えた免震構造建物を提供する。【解決手段】免震建物１００の外周部とその外構地面ＧＬとの間の隙間１８を塞ぐエキスパンション・ジョイント１０において、免震建物１００の外構地面ＧＬよりも上の周囲から外側に張り出した張出部２０を、隙間１８を跨いで外構地面ＧＬの上に水平方向にスライド自在に配置するようにする。【選択図】図１
