FITTING STRUCTURE FOR NIPPING DETECTION DEVICE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting structure for a nipping detection device that reduces the number of components and enables the nipping detection device to be readily fitted on and removed from an opening/closing member or a frame member of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A sliding door SD (or a panel PN) includes a fitting part extending along one of the sides thereof, the fitting part having a long hole extending in a prescribed direction. A nipping detection device 10 includes: a body part 20 extending along the fitting part; a shaft part 31 formed at an end in a longer-side direction of the body part 20 and protruding from the body part 20; and an engaging part 30 formed on the shaft part 31 and having claw parts 32, 33 extending in a direction orthogonal to a shaft line of the shaft part 31. The engaging part 30 is inserted into the long hole and the claw parts 32, 33 are rotated around the shaft line of the shaft part 31, thus causing the claw parts 32, 33 to become engaged at a position around the long hole on a side surface of the fitting part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
