PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coping that can commonly be used in the horizontal upper surface and the inclination upper surface of a wall while achieving proper finishing in the end of the coping coming into contact with the wall, and provide a construction method using this coping.SOLUTION: In a coping 1 disposed in the upper surface of a wall, an inclined part 11 where a surface side 1A is lengthened more than a back side 1B is formed at least in one end of a length direction. A cover edge 12 for covering the edge side of the inclined part 11 is formed in both edges of a distal width direction formed of the inclined part 11. The cover edge 12 is stuck out in the lengthwise direction more than the end of the surface side 1A of the inclined part 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】壁に接する笠木の端部において適切な仕上げを実現しつつ、壁の水平上面と傾斜上面とに共通して用いることができる笠木およびこの笠木を用いた施工方法を提供する。【解決手段】壁の上面に配置される笠木１において、長さ方向の少なくとも一方の端部に、裏面側１Ｂよりも表面側１Ａが長くされた傾斜部１１が形成されており、上記傾斜部１１が形成された端部の幅方向の両縁部には、上記傾斜部１１の縁側を隠す覆い縁部１２が形成されている。上記覆い縁部１２は上記傾斜部１１の表面側１Ａの端よりも上記長さ方向に突き出ている。【選択図】図１
