COPING REPLACEMENT CONSTRUCTION METHOD
To provide a coping replacement construction method capable of holding design properties around a parapet while suppressing cost when replacing an existing coping with a new coping.SOLUTION: A coping replacement construction method for replacing an existing coping 3 installed on an upper part of a rising part 2 of a parapet 1 with a new coping 4, comprises: a removal step of removing the existing coping 3 having a first outer peripheral covering part 33 covering an upper end part of an outer peripheral surface 2b of the rising part 2 from the rising part 2; an installation step of installing the new coping 4 having a second outer periphery covering part 43 covering an upper end part of the outer peripheral surface 2b of the rising part 2 on an upper part of the rising part 2; and a covering step of covering a range X from a lower end 43e of the second outer peripheral covering part 43 to a height H at which a lower end of the first outer peripheral covering part 33 is positioned in the outer peripheral surface 2b of the rising part 2 with a decorative modesty panel material 5 when the lower end 43e of the second outer peripheral covering part 43 installed in the rising part 2 is arranged at a position higher than a lower end position of the first outer peripheral covering part 33 before removal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】 既設笠木を新設笠木へと取り替える際に、コストを抑えつつパラペット廻りの意匠性を保持することができる笠木の取替施工方法を提供する。【解決手段】笠木の取替施工方法は、パラペット１の立上がり部２上部に設置された既設笠木３を、新設笠木４へ取替える方法であって、立上がり部２の外周面２ｂ上端部を被覆する第１外周被覆部３３を有した既設笠木３を、立上がり部２から撤去する撤去工程と、立上がり部２の外周面２ｂ上端部を被覆する第２外周被覆部４３を有した新設笠木４を、立上がり部２の上部に設置する設置工程と、立上がり部２に設置された第２外周被覆部４３の下端４３ｅが、撤去前の第１外周被覆部３３の下端位置よりも高い位置に配置される場合に、立上がり部２の外周面２ｂのうち、第２外周被覆部４３の下端４３ｅ〜第１外周被覆部３３の下端が位置していた高さＨまでの範囲Ｘを、化粧幕板材５によって被覆する被覆工程と、を備える。【選択図】図５
