PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine start device for a work vehicle which can enhance security performance at low costs.SOLUTION: An engine start device 13 for a work vehicle comprises an engine start key 14, an engine start switch 12 which is turned ON responding to turning operation of the engine start key 14 inserted, and an engine start control portion 15 which performs engine start responding to the turning-ON of the engine start switch 12. The engine start key 14 comprises a head portion 18, a key portion 19 which extends from the head portion 18 to be inserted into the engine start switch 12, a transmission button 20a provided at the head portion 18, and a transmission portion 20 which transmits a peculiar authentication signal responding to operation of the transmission button 20a. The engine start control portion 15, comprising a reception portion 21 which receives an authentication signal, performs the engine start when the reception portion 21 receives the authentication signal and the engine start switch 12 is turned ON.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
