EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN DEVICE OF WATER TANK
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency shutdown device having a shutdown valve installed by submerging in water inside a water tank, the emergency shutdown device preventing water hammering and negative pressure in a water service pipe on a downstream side of the shutdown valve, at a time of emergency.SOLUTION: A shutdown valve 10 installed on a water service pipe of a water tank 1 is connected with a drive device 11 installed on outside above the water tank 1 by a spindle 12. The shutdown valve 10 opens/closes a flow channel by a rotational operation of a valve body, the rotational operation being enabled by rotational torque exerted on the spindle 12 by the drive device 11. The spindle 12 comprises a hollow tube, with a suction port 14 provided near a connection between the spindle 12 and the drive device 11, and an outlet port 17 provided near a connection between the spindle 12 and the shutdown valve 10. An inlet port 18 is provided near the shutdown valve on the water service pipe on the downstream side, and the outlet port 17 is connected with the inlet port 18 by a flexible tube 16. Air taken in from the suction port 14 may be injected into a water service pipe 3 on the downstream side, via the spindle 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】遮断弁を貯水槽内に水没させて設置する装置において、緊急遮断時に遮断弁の下流側の配水管におけるウォータハンマーの発生や負圧の発生を防ぐ緊急遮断装置を提供する。【解決手段】貯水槽1の配水管に設置された遮断弁10と貯水槽1の上部外側に設置された駆動装置11とがスピンドル12にて連結され、遮断弁10は弁体の回転動作により流路を開閉するものであり、回転動作は駆動装置11によりスピンドル12に加えられる回転トルクにより行われ、スピンドル12は中空管で構成され、スピンドル12の駆動装置11との連結部近傍には吸気口14が設けられ、スピンドル12の遮断弁10との連結部近傍には送気口17が設けられ、下流側の配水管の遮断弁近傍には注気口18が設けられ、送気口17と注気口18とはフレキシブルチューブ16にて連結され、吸気口14から吸入された空気がスピンドル12を経由して下流側の配水管3に注入可能である。【選択図】図1
